5.19.23
Hello Dragon Band Students, Parents and Families,
We’ve had a productive week here in the band hall. Pictures have been rearranged, lockers have been cleaned, instruments are being inventoried, music has been filed, trash has been thrown away, we’ve got a start on concert performance archives and library refresh - the students have been tremendously helpful in everything we’ve done. Thank you students!
Congratulations to all 9 YAC finalists!
All 9 of these performances were absolutely stellar and a joy to watch and listen to!

Interested in helping out with uniforms next season?
Rayna Kurunthottical, our excellent uniform captain put together a handy form for you to complete
Uniform Help - still in need of some parent volunteers
We are searching for several people to help with uniforms for next year.
1) 2 people to help and shadow Laura Garland for next school year's marching season.
Work has already begun with sizing but there's lots more to do and Mrs. Garland will need some help and someone to train for when she's graduated
For questions, contact lauragarl.lg@gmail.com
AND 2) A parent to head up Concert Uniform Fittings next year. The job starts late in the fall, and entails:
Line up volunteers (Sign-Up Genius works great) to help with fittings during class periods. The best time is at the end of marching season.
Line up volunteers to hand hem uniforms as marked. Boosters will have a list of volunteers to draw from for this.
Repair hems as needed through the concert season.
Come back the first week of summer and put away returned uniforms in the uniform room.
For questions, contact anne_barnett@roundrockisd.org
