Hello Dragon Band Students, Parents and Families,

We’re about to wrap up marching season and the most prominent events are coming today, tomorrow and next Monday and Tuesday!  BOA San Antonio is regarded as the most competitive marching band contest in the country and the UIL State Marching Band Contest brings together the best of the best bands by classification.  Both events are big deal things!

We have at least one playoff game scheduled and it will be next Friday 11/15 at Reeves vs. Lake Travis.  We won’t know about another playoff game until the team wins the first one.  Usually games beyond the first round of playoffs are held on Saturdays and can be near or farther away.  In the past we’ve traveled to Waco and Houston for 2nd and 3rd round games.  For playoffs we go to all the games and will play in the stands as usual, and then play for the Dragonettes at halftime plus a stand tune.  Neither JV or V will perform their shows at halftime.
